The short version
Job Rounds keeps your customer and scheduling data on your own device. There's no account to create, and we don't run a server that stores it. We don't track your location or sell your data to anyone.
This policy explains what information Job Rounds (the "app") and our website at norgeapps.com collect, how it's used, and the choices you have. Job Rounds is made by Norge Apps ("we," "us," "our").
Overview
Job Rounds is designed with privacy in mind. The app works entirely without any account, and all schedule and location data you enter is stored locally on your device.
Because this data lives on your device, it is included in your device backups (for example, iCloud or iTunes/Finder backups) if you have those enabled. Those backups are governed by Apple's privacy terms, not ours. If you delete the app, the data stored by the app is removed from your device.
Location Data
Job Rounds does not require access to your device's location. If you choose to grant location permission, it is used only to provide conveniences such as suggesting nearby places when adding a location. Location data is never transmitted off your device, stored on our servers, or shared with third parties.
Maps
The app uses Apple Maps (MapKit) to display addresses and routes. When map features are used, Apple may process location and map-related requests under Apple's own privacy policy. We don't receive that data.
Analytics
Job Rounds collects anonymous usage data to help us understand how the app is used and improve it over time. This data contains no personally identifiable information, cannot be tied back to you, and is collected using TelemetryDeck, a privacy-friendly analytics service. You can learn more at TelemetryDeck
Subscriptions and purchases
If you purchase a premium (pro) subscription, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives your anonymized App Store receipt data to verify your subscription. No payment information is ever processed or stored by us. The website and email list
If you enter your email address on our website to join the early-access or launch notification list, we store that email address so we can contact you about Job Rounds. We use it only for that purpose and don't sell it. You can ask us to remove you at any time by emailing the address below.
How we use information
- To process and maintain your subscription.
- To understand usage in aggregate and improve the app.
- To contact you if you've joined our email list.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We don't share your customer data with third parties, because we don't have it — it stays on your device. The limited service providers we rely on (Apple, RevenueCat, TelemetryDeck, and our website email provider) process only what's described above, solely to provide their service to us.
Data security
Your in-app data is protected by your device's own security, including any passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID you have set. We recommend keeping your device locked and your software up to date. No method of storage or transmission is ever completely secure, but keeping data on-device avoids the risks that come with a central server.
Children
Job Rounds is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and rights
You control the data in the app directly — you can edit or delete customers and schedules, revoke location access in device settings, or delete the app to remove its on-device data. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal information we hold (such as an email on our list). To make a request, contact us below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be noted on this page.
